Workshops and Extended Learning Experiences.
I offer workshops and extended professional learning experiences that help communities build an inclusive culture connected to a culture of ongoing learning. Topics include: recognizing and challenging systemic harm in education, confronting bias and defensive behaviors, strengthening trust, and engaging communities in sustainable ways. Workshop and learning experience objectives can be personalized to meet your community and contextual needs.

Curriculum Work.
Using research based methods, I support educators in building a conceptual understanding and a practical toolkit for reviewing and redesigning curriculum that open the door to news ways of learning and greater possibilities of community. Building from brilliance of educators like Paulo Freire, James Baldwin, bell hooks and Gloria Ladson-Billings, to name a few, my approach focuses on learning as a life long process centered on answering the question, “How do we all contribute to a better world?”

“Solidarity not charity”.
Reimagine what community engagement looks like for your school. I support educational communities to examine their service learning and community service practices to challenge the savior complex mentality that too often persists in independent schools. I provide opportunities for in-depth learning, skill building and curriculum design, including all the necessary resources to sustain community engagement work that is rooted in authentic partnership and systemic social change.
